Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 16 oz. corn, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 c. instant rice
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a 2-quart microwavable dish, cook hamburger and onion, covered, for 6 minutes on High.
  2. Break up hamburger; cover and cook 4 more minutes.
  3. Drain grease.
  4. Add remaining ingredients, except cheese.
  5. Stir, cover and cook 5 minutes.
  6. Cook 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on High or until cheese is melted.
