Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (No. 303) can medium fruit cocktail
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 pound margarine or butter
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • coconut or nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, eggs, fruit cocktail, and baking soda together in a mixer for 1 minute.
  2. Pour the batter into an ungreased large oblong glass pan.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and add desired topping such as coconut or nuts.
