Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak, cut into strips
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 2 stalks broccoli, chopped
  • 1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small can bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 1 dried red hot pepper, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons salad oil

Instructions

  1. Put oil in a hot wok or skillet.
  2. Add broccoli and cook for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the beef strips to the wok.
  4. Cook until the pinkness is gone.
  5. Add green onions, water chestnuts, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and chopped dried red pepper.
  6. Stir-fry for about 4 minutes on high heat until everything is hot.
  7. Optional: top with toasted sesame seed. Serve over rice.
