Quick turkey appetizers combine savory turkey, melted cheese, fresh salsa, and herbs on crispy tortillas, perfect for entertaining or casual snacking with bold flavors and a crunchy texture.

Ingredients

  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 4 tsp. olive oil
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 lb. chopped deli smoked turkey
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped black olives
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Place tortillas on 2 large (9 x 13-inch) baking sheets. Lightly brush both sides of tortillas with oil.
  2. Bake tortillas at 400°F for 3 minutes; remove from oven.
  3. Evenly spread salsa over all tortillas.
  4. Sprinkle chopped turkey, chopped tomato, chopped cilantro, crushed red pepper, chopped black olives, and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over salsa on each tortilla.
  5. Bake tortillas for 12 minutes, rearranging baking sheets halfway through.
  6. Slice tortillas into eighths to serve.
