Ingredients

  • 3 lb. short ribs
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 2 large onions, diced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut the short ribs into serving pieces.
  2. Place the ribs on a cookie sheet.
  3. Brown the ribs in the oven at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  4. Drain the grease and transfer the ribs to a large baking dish.
  5. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs.
  6. Cover and bake for 2 hours at 350°F.
  7. Turn the ribs once during cooking.
  8. Serve with the sauce.
