Ingredients

  • 1 lb. can beans in barbecue sauce
  • 1 lb. can tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine beans and tomatoes in a 13 x 9-inch baking dish; spread evenly.
  2. Mix together ground beef, egg, onion soup mix, catsup, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper until well blended.
  3. Shape the mixture into about 21 meat balls, approximately 1 1/2 inches each.
  4. Arrange the meat balls in 3 rows down the center of the bean and tomato mixture.
  5. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven.
  7. Drop biscuits by tablespoonfuls into 2 rows between the meat balls.
  8. Bake for an additional 20 to 25 minutes until biscuits are golden and cooked through.
