Rice Meatloaf
Ingredients
- 3/4 pound ground beef, lean ⓘ
- 3/4 pound ground pork lean ⓘ
- 1/2 cup rice converted, raw ⓘ
- 1/2 cup milk ⓘ
- 1/4 cup onions minced ⓘ
- 2 tablespoons ketchup ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 2 large eggs slightly beaten ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon marjoram dried ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme dried ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well blended.
- Pack into a 9x5 inch loaf pan, cover with foil, and bake at 350F (180C).
- for 1 1/2 hrs (removing foil after 30 mins).
- Even when cooked through, meat will still be slightly pink because of the ketchup.
- Drain off fat, and let the meat loaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing to serve.
