Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb veal roast or chunked veal
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 large carrot, cubed small
  • 1 can chopped mushrooms
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 2 cans water
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the veal and place it in a roasting pan.
  2. Add chopped green pepper, cubed carrot, chopped onion, chopped mushrooms, tomato soup, water, salt, and pepper to the pan.
  3. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
  4. Roast at 350°F (175°C) for 2 to 3 hours, checking and stirring periodically.
  5. Add water if the mixture becomes too thick during cooking.
  6. Serve with cooked wide egg noodles, peas, and a tossed salad.
