Instructions
- Mix 1 cup flour, margarine or butter, and sugar; put in pan.
- Bake for 20 minutes at 350°F (175°C).
- Mix remaining ingredients: 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, 1/2 cup coconut, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 cup walnuts, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
- Spread the mixture on top of the first layer.
- Bake until brown, same temperature.
- Slice when cold.
