Ingredients

  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 1/4 C warm water
  • 2 - 2 1/2 C flour
  • 1 C cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp instant onion
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dill weed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. Meanwhile, heat cottage cheese and butter until the butter is just melted and mixture is lukewarm.
  3. Combine sugar, instant onion, dill weed, salt, and baking soda in a large bowl.
  4. Add the warm cottage cheese and butter mixture; mix well.
  5. Add the beaten egg; mix well.
  6. Add the yeast mixture; mix thoroughly.
  7. Gradually add flour, mixing well until a soft dough forms.
