Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup pasta sauce
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash pepper
  • 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • Sauce
  • 6 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Beat egg.
  3. Stir in crumbs and pasta sauce.
  4. Stir in ground beef.
  5. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, onion, and celery.
  6. Put mixture in an 8-inch round cake pan.
  7. Combine ketchup, brown sugar, and dry mustard.
  8. Spread on top of meatloaf.
  9. Bake at 375°F for 40 minutes.
