Ingredients

  • 3 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 cups cooked and cubed chicken or turkey
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped onions and chives
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
  • 1 (8 oz.) can Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 3/4 cup seasoned croutons

Instructions

  1. Blend cream cheese and melted butter until smooth.
  2. Add chopped onions and chives, cooked and cubed chicken or turkey, salt, pepper, milk, and chopped pimento; mix well.
  3. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles and press perforations together.
  4. Spoon 1/2 cup of the mixture into the center of each rectangle.
  5. Seal the edges of each rectangle and slope slightly.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  7. Spread seasoned croutons on top of each square.
  8. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes until golden.
