Ingredients

  • 1 lb. shrimp, cleaned and peeled
  • 4 slices bacon, cut small
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. sliced celery
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 2/3 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut up large shrimp if necessary.
  2. Fry bacon in a pan until crisp.
  3. Add chopped onion, sliced celery, and chopped bell pepper to the bacon fat.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat until vegetables are tender.
  5. Add shrimp, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and Tabasco sauce.
  6. Cook for 6 minutes until shrimp are cooked through.
  7. Add cooked rice to the mixture.
  8. Stir well to combine all ingredients and serve.
