Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground turkey
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 c. chopped green pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, undrained
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. whole kernel corn

Instructions

  1. Preheat a pot on the stove over medium heat.
  2. Add ground turkey and brown it thoroughly.
  3. Remove the pot from heat and place it on the base.
  4. Add chopped onions, green pepper, garlic, undrained whole tomatoes, undrained kidney beans, salt, chili powder, and pepper to the pot.
  5. Stir to combine all ingredients well.
  6. Cover and simmer on low heat for 7 to 10 hours.
  7. About 1 hour before serving, add the whole kernel corn.
  8. Serve topped with grated cheese and/or sour cream if desired.
