- Prepare spaghetti and sauce as directed on the package.
- Combine the cooked spaghetti, 1 cup of sauce, and grated cheese.
- Place the mixture in an 8-inch square baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine ground beef, chopped green pepper, drained mushrooms, beaten egg, minced onion, salt, and pepper.
- Mix lightly and spread over the spaghetti mixture.
- Top with the remaining sauce.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with cheese, and bake just until cheese melts.
