Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and oil until crumbly.
  2. Take out 1 cup of the mixture and add pecans to it to make the topping.
  3. To the remaining mixture, add baking soda, baking powder, egg, and 1/2 cup of buttermilk.
  4. Beat for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of buttermilk and mix well.
