Stir-Fried Beef Vegetables

A flavorful stir-fry combining tender beef with vibrant vegetables, soy sauce, and garlic, served over rice for a satisfying and quick meal perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions
  • 1/2 garlic clove
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1 cup cauliflower
  • 1 can drained mushrooms
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 3 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 4 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Stir-fry sliced beef until browned, then remove from skillet.
  3. Cut onions into thin wedges and mince garlic clove.
  4. Stir-fry onions and garlic briefly, then add broccoli and cauliflower and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add drained mushrooms and return beef to the skillet.
  6. Mix crushed bouillon cube and soy sauce into the skillet.
  7. Blend cornstarch in 3/4 cup water and add to the skillet.
  8. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
  9. Serve hot over cooked rice.
