Ingredients

  • 1 lb. string beans
  • 1/2 stick butter or margarine
  • 1/2 to 1 box mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • oregano to taste
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pan.
  2. Add string beans and sliced mushrooms to the pan.
  3. Chop garlic and minced onion.
  4. Add white wine and grated Parmesan cheese to the pan.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and oregano to taste.
  6. Simmer until the string beans are tender.
