Ingredients

  • 2 lb crab meat
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 6 cloves chopped garlic
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 well beaten eggs
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Saute vegetables in butter and oil.
  2. Add crab meat and bread crumbs; simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Cool and stir in eggs.
  4. Stuff crab shells with the mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the tops with bread crumbs.
  6. Bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes.
