Tips & Substitutions

For best results, use day-old bread for added texture. If you prefer a milder flavor, substitute the jalapenos with bell peppers. You can also experiment with different cheeses like Monterey Jack or pepper jack for a unique twist. To save time, use pre-cooked sausage or leftover meats. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, consider omitting the sausage altogether and adding more vegetables.

Serving Suggestions

This egg bake is perfect for brunch or holiday gatherings. Serve it alongside a fresh fruit salad or crispy hash browns for a complete meal. Pair with a mimosa or a warm cup of coffee for a festive touch. It also pairs beautifully with Hanky Pankin' Party Ryes for a delightful appetizer.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place individual portions in the microwave, or bake in the oven at 350°F until warmed through. Cover with foil to prevent drying out if reheating the whole dish.
