Juicy Swedish meatballs with a savory gravy, perfect for comforting family meals or entertaining guests, featuring a blend of beef, pork, and aromatic herbs.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 c. onion, minced
  • 3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley, minced
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
  2. Shape into balls the size of a walnut.
  3. Brown the meatballs in hot fat or vegetable oil.
  4. Remove meatballs and make gravy in the same pan.
  5. Return meatballs to the gravy and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
