Ingredients

  • 1 large package egg noodles
  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 large onions, chopped
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 2 garlic bulbs or garlic salt
  • 1 lb American cheese
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 large can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet.
  2. Add chopped onions and bell pepper; cook until tender.
  3. Add garlic, chili powder, salt, and pepper; cook for another minute.
  4. Meanwhile, boil the egg noodles until al dente; drain.
  5. In a large casserole dish, combine the cooked meat mixture, drained noodles, corn, American cheese, tomato soup, Ro-Tel tomatoes, and half a can of water.
  6. Mix well to combine all ingredients.
  7. Top with grated cheese, if desired.
  8. Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 1 to 1.5 hours, or 45 minutes if halved.
