Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium bell pepper
  • 1 cup Wesson oil
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Instructions

  1. Mix chopped cabbage, onion, and bell pepper well; salt to taste.
  2. Bring to a boil the Wesson oil, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, and prepared mustard; pour over the cabbage mixture.
  3. Let stand in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  4. Drain and serve.
