- Cut large cooked and deveined shrimp in half.
- Cook mushrooms, chopped green pepper, and chopped onion in melted margarine or oil until tender.
- Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, grated cheese, and pepper.
- Heat the mixture, stirring constantly, until the cheese melts.
- Stir in the halved shrimp.
- Pour the shrimp mixture into a well-greased 1-quart casserole dish.
- Combine dried bread crumbs with melted margarine or oil.
- Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the top of the shrimp mixture.
- Bake in a hot oven at 400°F for 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated and the crumbs are browned.
