Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked and deveined shrimp
  • 2 1/4 oz jar mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 2 Tbsp green pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp margarine or cooking oil
  • 10 3/4 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup dried bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Cut large cooked and deveined shrimp in half.
  2. Cook mushrooms, chopped green pepper, and chopped onion in melted margarine or oil until tender.
  3. Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, grated cheese, and pepper.
  4. Heat the mixture, stirring constantly, until the cheese melts.
  5. Stir in the halved shrimp.
  6. Pour the shrimp mixture into a well-greased 1-quart casserole dish.
  7. Combine dried bread crumbs with melted margarine or oil.
  8. Sprinkle the bread crumb mixture over the top of the shrimp mixture.
  9. Bake in a hot oven at 400°F for 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated and the crumbs are browned.
