Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup chunk-style peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups uncooked oats
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat margarine, peanut butter, and sugars until creamy.
  4. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla.
  5. Stir in the flour mixture, then add oats and raisins.
  6. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space for expansion.
  7. Bake in a 350°F (175°C) oven for about 15 minutes.
  8. Remove cookies to a rack to cool.
