Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed chicken
  • 2 pounds hamburger
  • 2 large onions, cubed
  • 2 large peppers, cubed
  • 2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cornmeal
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 cans kidney beans
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Saute hamburger, onions, peppers, and garlic; drain.
  2. Add all other ingredients except macaroni to the mixture.
  3. Cook on low heat for 1 hour.
  4. Add cooked elbow macaroni and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
  5. Serve hot.
