A hearty turkey casserole with creamy mushroom soup, green peppers, and diced ham, perfect for comforting family dinners and easy to prepare ahead of time.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups raw spaghetti or fettucini, broken in 2-inch pieces
  • 3 to 4 cups cooked ham, chicken or turkey
  • 1/2 cup diced canned pimento
  • 1/2 cup diced green pepper
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 3/4 cups turkey or chicken broth or water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti until tender, then drain and rinse well.
  2. Add cooked ham, pimento, green pepper, onion, cream of mushroom soup, broth, salt, and pepper to the spaghetti.
  3. Mix lightly with a fork to combine all ingredients.
  4. Place the mixture into a 3-quart casserole dish.
  5. Sprinkle 1/2 cup grated cheese over the top.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or prepare the day before.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until the mixture starts to bubble.
  8. Bake uncovered and serve hot.
