Turketti Casserole
A hearty turkey casserole with creamy mushroom soup, green peppers, and diced ham, perfect for comforting family dinners and easy to prepare ahead of time.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups raw spaghetti or fettucini, broken in 2-inch pieces ⓘ
- 3 to 4 cups cooked ham, chicken or turkey ⓘ
- 1/2 cup diced canned pimento ⓘ
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper ⓘ
- 1 small onion, chopped ⓘ
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup ⓘ
- 1 3/4 cups turkey or chicken broth or water ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti until tender, then drain and rinse well.
- Add cooked ham, pimento, green pepper, onion, cream of mushroom soup, broth, salt, and pepper to the spaghetti.
- Mix lightly with a fork to combine all ingredients.
- Place the mixture into a 3-quart casserole dish.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup grated cheese over the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or prepare the day before.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour or until the mixture starts to bubble.
- Bake uncovered and serve hot.
