Ingredients

  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) package herb seasoned stuffing
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cups cooked, diced turkey
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a 3-quart casserole, mix chopped celery, stuffing, and sliced mushrooms.
  2. Layer cooked, diced turkey evenly over the stuffing mixture.
  3. Combine milk, eggs, and cream of chicken soup; mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture over the turkey layer.
  5. Sprinkle with slivered almonds (optional) and grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the top.
  7. Bake at 350°F for 35 to 40 minutes, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
