Ingredients

  • 1 lb. center cut pork chops
  • 1 Tbsp. Chablis
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 3 green onions including tops
  • 2 tsp. liquid hot pepper seasoning
  • 4 tsp. hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 small green bell peppers or 1 each green and red pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. minced fresh ginger

Instructions

  1. Place pork, Chablis, and ginger in a 2-quart pan.
  2. Add one green onion cut in half and enough water to barely cover the meat.
  3. Bring to a simmer, cover, and simmer until the pork is no longer pink, about 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. Lift the meat from the broth and refrigerate until cold.
  5. Cut the pork into 1 1/2-inch square pieces.
