Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp uncooked oats
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 Tbsp shredded carrots
  • 1 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 Tbsp chopped green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp chopped celery
  • 2 Tbsp bottled chili sauce
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly mix together the ground beef, oats, beaten egg yolk, shredded carrots, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, chopped celery, and 1 tablespoon of chili sauce.
  2. Shape the mixture into a miniature loaf and place it in a lightly greased pan.
  3. Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of chili sauce on top of the loaf.
  4. Bake uncovered in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 45 to 55 minutes, or until done.
