- Thoroughly mix together the ground beef, oats, beaten egg yolk, shredded carrots, chopped onion, chopped green pepper, chopped celery, and 1 tablespoon of chili sauce.

- Spread the remaining 1 tablespoon of chili sauce on top of the loaf.
- Bake uncovered in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 45 to 55 minutes, or until done.
