Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cold milk

Instructions

  1. Mix whole wheat flour with cinnamon and soda in a bowl.
  2. Cut in margarine and shredded Cheddar cheese with a pastry blender until crumbly.
  3. Add the beaten egg and cold milk to the mixture.
  4. Mix with the flour until the mixture forms a ball.
  5. Shape teaspoonfuls of the dough into sticks.
  6. Place the sticks 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until light brown.
