Ingredients

  • 16 oz. ziti noodles
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 15 oz. Ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 15 oz. spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare ziti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook ground beef for 10 minutes until browned.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, beaten egg, salt, and ground pepper.
  5. Add the cooked ziti and toss gently to coat well.
  6. Spoon the mixture into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  7. Pour remaining sauce evenly over the ziti mixture.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  9. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
