  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. sour milk
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Beat together flour, salt, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, and 2/3 cup margarine; reserve 1/2 cup of mixture to sprinkle over batter.
  2. Add baking powder, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, sour milk, and eggs; blend well.
