Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 chicken breasts
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 3 Tbsp. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. flour
  • pepper to taste
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • chopped almonds

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a shallow dish.
  2. In a separate bowl whisk together milk and eggs.
  3. Dip each chicken breast first in the flour mixture, then in the milk mixture, back into the flour, again into the milk, and finally coat with chopped almonds.
  4. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan over medium heat and add the chicken breasts, cooking until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Add the remaining butter to the pan, allowing it to melt and coat the chicken, then transfer the pan to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C).
  6. Bake for 1 hour, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the almonds are crisp.
  7. Remove from oven, let rest briefly, and serve hot.
