Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 cups unpeeled apples, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Mix together flour, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, and ground cloves; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix sugar with oil.
  3. Add beaten eggs and vanilla to the sugar and oil mixture.
  4. Stir in chopped apples, raisins, and chopped walnuts.

  6. Grease a bread pan and line the bottom with wax paper.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
