Applebee's Lemonade Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 x egg ⓘ
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk ⓘ
- 1/2 c. flour ⓘ
- 1/2 c. corn flake crumbs ⓘ
- 1 tsp salt ⓘ
- 1/4 tsp pepper ⓘ
- 1 x boneless, skinless chicken breast half oil for frying ⓘ
- 3 c. minced romaine lettuce
- 1 c. red cabbage ⓘ
- 1 c. Napa cabbage ⓘ
- 1/2 x carrot, julienned or possibly shredded ⓘ
- 1 x green onion, minced ⓘ
- 1 Tbsp. sliced almonds ⓘ
- 1/3 c. chow mein noodles ⓘ
- 3 Tbsp. honey ⓘ
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar ⓘ
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise ⓘ
- 1 tsp Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
- 1/8 tsp sesame oil ⓘ
Instructions
- Prepare dressing ingredients by mixing in a small bowl.
- Chill while preparing salad.
- Cut each chicken breast into 5 strips.
- In one bowl, beat egg with lowfat milk.
- In another bowl, combine flour with corn flake crumbs, salt and pepper.
- Preheat oil over medium heat.
- Dip individual chicken pcs in egg mix and then roll in the flour mix.
- Fry chicken till browned, drain and set aside.
- Prepare salad by tossing the minced romaine with the minced red cabbage, Napa cabbage, and carrots.
- Sprinkle sliced green onion on top of the lettuce.
- Sprinkle almonds over the salad, then the chow mein noodles.
- Cut the chicken into small chunks.
- Place the chicken onto the salad forming a pile in the middle.
- Serve with salad dressing on the side.
