Ingredients

- 1 (3 lb) disjointed chicken ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine ⓘ
- 1 medium onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1 clove garlic, mashed ⓘ
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice ⓘ
- 1 cup chicken broth ⓘ
- 2 (4 oz) cans mushrooms ⓘ
- 8 oz medium noodles ⓘ
- 1 cup sour cream ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Roll the disjointed chicken in the flour mixture to coat evenly.
- Brown the coated chicken slowly in butter in a skillet; transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish.
- Add chopped onion and mashed garlic to the skillet drippings; stir in lemon juice, chicken broth, and canned mushrooms.
- Simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes, then pour the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
- Cover the baking dish with a lid or foil.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
