Delicious baked ham appetizers featuring tender ham, Swiss cheese, and onions layered in dinner rolls with a flavorful mustard-Worcestershire spread, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 pkg. small dinner rolls (Tatum rolls)
  • 1 lb. ham, boiled or baked
  • 1/2 lb. Swiss cheese
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Chop the ham and onion.
  2. Grate the Swiss cheese.
  3. Mix the margarine, prepared mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to make a spread.
  4. Split the dinner rolls lengthwise and spread a thin layer of the spread on each side.
  5. Fill the rolls with layers of ham, cheese, and onion, then put the tops back on.
  6. Place the filled rolls in aluminum roll pans.
  7. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
  8. Can be made ahead, frozen, then thawed before baking.
