- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup nuts in the bottom of each pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, soda, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, combine eggs, sugar, mashed strawberries, mashed banana, and oil.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
- Stir in remaining nuts.
- Spoon batter into the prepared loaf pans.
- Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Remove from pans and cool completely on a rack.
