Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 lb sausage
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Brush the unbaked 9-inch pie shell with a small amount of beaten egg.
  2. Bake the pie shell at 450°F for 5 minutes.
  3. Brown ground beef, sausage, and chopped onion in a skillet.
  4. Drain well to remove excess fat.
  5. Spoon the cooked meat mixture into the pre-baked pie shell.
  6. Beat the eggs and pour over the filling.
  7. Sprinkle shredded Mozzarella cheese and sliced mushrooms on top.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 15-20 minutes until set and golden.
