Beef 'N Mushroom Pie

Ingredients
- pastry for 9-inch two-crust pie ⓘ
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/3 cup chopped onion ⓘ
- 1/3 cup chopped green pepper ⓘ
- 1 can condensed tomato soup ⓘ
- 1 (3 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained ⓘ
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce ⓘ
- 3/4 teaspoon salt ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt ⓘ
- dash of pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- Line a deep dish pie pan with pastry and flute the edges.
- Place ground beef, chopped onion, and chopped green pepper in a large skillet.
- Cook until the meat is browned.
- Pour off excess fat.
- Add condensed tomato soup, drained sliced mushrooms, dried parsley flakes, Worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic salt, and a dash of pepper to the skillet.
- Mix well and cook until heated through.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust with the top crust placed over the filling.
- Seal the edges, cut slits in the top crust, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
