Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 3 c. water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms and liquid
  • 1 (7 oz.) pkg. macaroni

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Pour off excess fat from the browned beef.
  3. Add minced onion, parsley flakes, tomato paste, water, salt, chili powder, and canned mushrooms with liquid to the beef.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  5. Add the macaroni to the skillet and bring again to a boil.
  6. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20 to 25 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
