Best Baked Beans Ever

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup oil ⓘ
- 3 medium onions, sliced ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can chili beans, undrained ⓘ
- 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans, undrained ⓘ
- 1 small can green lima beans, drained ⓘ
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar ⓘ
- 1/4 cup catsup ⓘ
- 1/4 cup vinegar ⓘ
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard ⓘ
Instructions
- Heat oil in skillet until warmed.
- Add the sliced onions and sauté until tender.
- Drain the onions and set aside.
- Combine the sautéed onions with remaining ingredients in a medium bowl, stirring well.
- Spoon the mixture into a lightly greased casserole dish; chill overnight.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for one hour.
