A tangy, savory salad featuring a blend of spinach, bean sprouts, bacon, and eggs, dressed with a sweet and tangy homemade vinaigrette perfect for casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Mazola oil
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 grated onion
  • 1/2 pkg. raw spinach
  • 1 large can bean sprouts, drained
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs

Instructions

  1. Fry the bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
  2. Hard-boil the eggs, peel and dice them.
  3. In a blender, combine Mazola oil, white sugar, catsup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and grated onion. Blend until smooth.
  4. In a large bowl, combine raw spinach, drained bean sprouts, crumbled bacon, and diced eggs.
  5. Pour the blended dressing over the salad ingredients.
  6. Mix well and serve.
