Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups Bran Flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 3/4 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (8 oz) carton sour cream
  • buttered noodles (to serve 4)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the egg until foamy.
  2. Stir in milk, Bran Flakes, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add ground beef, mixing until combined.
  5. Form into 20 meatballs, each about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
  6. Bake in a 400°F (200°C) oven for about 15 minutes and drain.
