Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked shelled shrimp
  • 2 slices lemon
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • olive oil to cover
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper

Instructions

  1. Layer the cooked shelled shrimp, sliced onion, lemon slices, and chopped parsley in a serving dish.
  2. Add salt, freshly ground pepper, and a dash of Tabasco to taste.
  3. Cover with olive oil, bay leaf, chopped green pepper, and chopped celery.
  4. Marinate for 6 to 8 hours, then serve.
