Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 6 slices cheese
  • 1 large can Butter-Me-Not biscuits

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown ground beef with onions and green pepper. Drain fat.
  2. Add tomato sauce, catsup, and pepper; heat through.
  3. Alternate meat mixture and cheese in an ungreased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Arrange biscuits around the edge of the casserole.
  4. Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
