Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. onion
  • 1 tsp. green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 large boneless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can biscuits
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 2/3 c. milk

Instructions

  1. Saute onion and green pepper in butter.
  2. Stir in cooked, chopped chicken, 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, and pepper.
  3. Roll out the biscuits to 1/4 to 1/8-inch thickness.
  4. Spread 2 tablespoons of the mixture on each rolled-out biscuit.
  5. Roll up the biscuits and seal the edges by pressing the dough together.
  6. Place the rolled biscuits in a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake at 450°F (232°C) for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
  8. In a saucepan, combine the cream of chicken soup and milk.
  9. Heat the soup mixture thoroughly and pour over the baked rolls.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheese over the top.
  11. Bake for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
