Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 8 ounces cooked salad shrimp
  • 1 deep-dish pie shell unbaked
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 3/4 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Saute chopped onion in butter until tender.
  2. Mix grated Cheddar cheese with flour until well combined.
  3. Add cooked salad shrimp and sautéed onion to the cheese mixture and combine.
  4. Spread the shrimp mixture evenly in the unbaked deep-dish pie shell.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs; then add milk, parsley, seasoning salt, garlic salt, and pepper, mixing well.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the shrimp and cheese in the pie shell.
  7. Bake on a cookie sheet at 375°F for 35 to 40 minutes until set and golden.
