Ingredients

  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 lb chicken, cleaned and skinned
  • 3 large potatoes, cubed
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Season the chicken to taste with garlic powder, seasoned salt, and lemon pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in a baking dish.
  4. Add the cubed potatoes, sliced carrots, sliced bell pepper, and diced onion around the chicken.
  5. Pour the Worcestershire sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
  6. Sprinkle the beef stew seasoning mix over the chicken and vegetables.
  7. Pour the stewed tomatoes over the top.
  8. Add the canned mushrooms.
  9. Cover the baking dish with foil.
  10. Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until the chicken is tender.
